Just Include Me is free online training for health professionals and others who support people with intellectual disability as part of their job.

The training can help you give better health care to people with intellectual disability.

It is self-paced. This means you can do it in your own time. You can use a phone, tablet, laptop or computer.

The training covers:

  • person-centred care
  • clear communication
  • as communication
  • reasonable adjustments
  • consent and decision making
  • .

The training uses health care examples and case studies. It can help you learn simple actions that make health care more .

NSW Health staff can do the training through HETI.

Other professionals can do the training for free through Medcast.

The training gives a certificate when you finish it.
