Health check ups and treatments can be scary or confusing if you don’t know what to expect. The Say Less, Show More health program made photo stories that explain common health care experiences.

The photo stories use pictures and simple language to show what it is like to:

  • get a blood test
  • go to the or dentist
  • get a , or
  • go to hospital
  • have an operation.

There are different photo stories for children, men and women.

To help health professionals use the photo stories, there is an e-Learning package and other support materials.
